About Us:

Youth With A Vision (YWAV) through persistence over the years has metamorphosed into a structured organization. In 2012, it was formally registered as an NGO with the name Youth With A Vision Foundation. YWAV as it is fondly called, came as a thought in late 2004 after a couple of training and empowerment programs for the youth in various areas in Lagos.

The idea was to raise an army of young people who are purpose-driven. We have come to realize that lots of young people in Nigeria are dissatisfied with their present situation. In circumstances where a young person graduates from the University and stays unemployed for years could make anyone to compromise their values. This has resulted in youth restiveness and other social vices as we can see today in our society.

So, the role of YWAV is to bridge the gap by re-orientating the mindset of the youth. Our mandate as an NGO is to empower them in these four core areas: Leadership Development, Entrepreneurship Development, Career Development, and Living on Purpose.

It is upon this foundation that YWAV has decided to take up the challenge by bringing a message of hope to the young people. YWAV strongly believes that in carrying out its assignment of empowering the young people, it will have a huge impact upon their lives and the society at large.

The youth takes a huge portion of the population of any nation. Therefore, no nation can attain a glorious height that neglects her young people. Our goal as an NGO is to empower the youth to unleash their God-given potentials so they can discover their “true selves” and “abilities” to be able to achieve their dreams and aspirations in life.
