Every organization builds its reputation based on a set of values. YWAV believes in upholding certain core values.
- Patriotism: No nation can forge ahead where its citizens do not hold their dear country at heart. As an NGO, one of our key values is to be patriotic citizens of our nation, Nigeria. This we do not only hold to ourselves but earnestly plan to infuse into the minds of the youth.
- Leadership: Leadership is central to us as an organization. It is the life blood of any individual, organization, and nation. Like the saying goes, “everything rises and falls on leadership.” We’ve taken it up as a duty to inculcate leadership principles in our young people.
- Integrity: Integrity means a consistent lifestyle or behavior that matches beliefs across a variety of situations. People trust those who can “walk the talk” and lead by example. As an NGO our mission is to build trust, honesty, and dependability amongst our stakeholders and partners.
- Diligence: No organization succeeds by accident. There is a price to pay for success in life. It takes diligence to succeed in any venture. As an NGO we are committed to diligence and doing what is needful in achieving our organizational goals.
- Empowerment: Empowering others to become their best is a major essence for living. We believe in helping others to unleash and maximize their potentials. As an NGO we are determined to go the extra mile in bringing out the best in others.
- Service: Giving support is the primary function of leadership not based on one’s own interests, but rather on the interests of others. Service to humanity is the hallmark of YWAV core values. We are committed to not only meeting the needs of others but to offer selfless service in putting smiles on their face.
